Dining Club, June 2022

Membership of the Dining Club is open to any member with an interest in (or curiosity about) discovering the various places to enjoy a good meal in our area…

And, with that in mind, this group assembled for a Heathway Dining Club ‘experience’, in the Carola restaurant in Lee, on June 17th:

“… a splendid time was had by all – dining on such delights as prawn cocktail and scabbard, as well as the ‘usuals’ such as steak and pasta dishes. The wine was excellent and we would all recommend Carola as a fine local restaurant.” (WH)

The Heathway ‘Platinum Jubilee 2022’ Street Party, on June 5th

Thanks to everyone who helped to organise and set-up this very special event… and to those who provided tables, chairs, decorations, games, raffle prizes, knobbly knees, music, lashings of food & drink, general bonhomie, and made such an enjoyable community event possible.

Thanks also to the rain that never came (despite the forecasts), and the reign of our Queen which gave us this excuse in the first place.
